I tried something different. Can you see them now?

Yes, I can see your photos now. On the other hand, your avatar is still a missing file.

Looks nice and neat. I can see you have all your bases covered on the "core" systems that a good retro collection needs. An NES would be a nice addition, but there's no need to rush on that. You'll find one when you find one.

You and I use the same type of Wal*Mart entertainment center. I like that you can take them apart and put them back together without any tools. I took two of those and connected them like tinker toys.

Nice it looks really good. I agree with samson though, but only because there are a ton of great games on the NES. Personally I would also recommend getting a bookshelf or shelving system of some sort though to display games(I've kinda made room on my book shelf in my room for mine just haven't updated the thread with pics yet). It just makes things a whole lot easier on the mind when it comes to switching games and everything.
My gameroom
My systems: NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, Wii, original gba, gba sp(001), ds lite, 3ds, vita, psp, PSone(101 model) ps2, ps3(320gb model), ps4, retron 5, and Dreamcast.

Could be my bad luck, but most old NES front loaders were DOA for me. I couldn't even get them working after internal cleaning or crippling the anti-piracy chip inside. A cheap top loader is apparently too much to dream for, lol. I agree with the bookshelf idea though. I have a few CIB Sega Genesis games, but they're all buried in a box for want of someplace to display them.

If I get something new, a PS3 or Wii would be nice (I have a 360 already). It's not quite visible in these pics, but to the right on the other wall is an HDTV. I think a Wii/PS3/XBOX 360 trio setup on that TV would be a cool next step to take.

Well the problem with front loaders for nes is that sometimes the pins are out of shape for years of use and have to be bent back into shape. I definitely wouldn't recommend the top loader though, from everything I hear unless you mod it, there's lines in the screen and it's a little annoying. Also if you don't have a composite/hdmi switch you might want to get one. Especially one that comes with a remote. those things are amazing at how many ports they can add to the setup. I'd be careful though with how many systems you add to your collection. It might also be worth noting if you do go with wii and ps3 that you may want to wait(unless it's a first party title) to get any games. Especially because sooner or later stores will mark them down and make it 10x easier to get the games. But whatever you do unless you're willing to modify it do not get a top loader :?

Nice and neat setup. I like the Jolteon too! I have a few plush characters myself.

I have exactly the same 6 consoles (plus Mega CD addon, handhelds and and a C64) even the arrangement is very similar. I don't need a NES cause these systems covers the most NES classics either via emulation or upgraded versions and the rest is what i don't really care of. But a Turbografx could be a valuable addition (I am a big Bomberman and shmup fan).

Wow, that's a cool coincidence.

Actually I have a C64, I just haven't gotten adventurous enough to figure out how to make it work. I just bought it cause it was $10 and it looked cool. I have handhelds, too; Gameboy (for Pokemon Pinball), DS Lite, 3DS XL, and PSP 1000 with custom firmware.

I've never actually found Turbografx in the wild before. If I ever did, though, I'd take it home with me!
