I made a few changes to my game room, took more thorough pictures. Behold my game cave!

Well the problem with front loaders for nes is that sometimes the pins are out of shape for years of use and have to be bent back into shape. I definitely wouldn't recommend the top loader though, from everything I hear unless you mod it, there's lines in the screen and it's a little annoying. Also if you don't have a composite/hdmi switch you might want to get one. Especially one that comes with a remote. those things are amazing at how many ports they can add to the setup. I'd be careful though with how many systems you add to your collection. It might also be worth noting if you do go with wii and ps3 that you may want to wait(unless it's a first party title) to get any games. Especially because sooner or later stores will mark them down and make it 10x easier to get the games. But whatever you do unless you're willing to modify it do not get a top loaderAnayo wrote:Could be my bad luck, but most old NES front loaders were DOA for me. I couldn't even get them working after internal cleaning or crippling the anti-piracy chip inside. A cheap top loader is apparently too much to dream for, lol. I agree with the bookshelf idea though.

Wow, that's a cool coincidence.lumpen wrote:I have exactly the same 6 consoles (plus Mega CD addon, handhelds and and a C64) even the arrangement is very similar. I don't need a NES cause these systems covers the most NES classics either via emulation or upgraded versions and the rest is what i don't really care of. But a Turbografx could be a valuable addition (I am a big Bomberman and shmup fan).
