Am I the only one that uses the Gamecube GB Player?

Post by racketboy »

I love the thing and have been using it much more than my real GBA.
I love using my Wavebirds, so I find it great for playing a lot of 2D games on my Cube.
Anybody else the same way?

I use it. I would love to use it in progressive scan. I wish I could play it using those hori controllers.

I never thought it was necessary to buy the gb player. I know they have alot of good snes games, but I just use my snes for that!

two words: Advance Wars
There are others though -- only the first batch of good GBA games were SNES ones.
There's a bunch of GBA exclusives that are worth playing.

xbox all the way man, I have pretty much every NeoGeo, MAME game,Capcom Arcade Game, NES game, SNES game, GEN game, Master System Game, all the Atari systems includeing the Jag, and ofcourse GBA with about 2300 roms.

GBA is pretty much a continuation of the SNES, most games meet SNES quality and some are better. So it's kind of obvious for a SNES fan to buy a GBA + Game Cube hookups.

I like the gamecube player

If it wasnt fo the gamecube player, I probably wouldnt use my gamecube 70% as much as I do. I got mine for 20 bucks at a pawn shop. Pawn shops are a great place to get games and hardware, especially towards the end of the month since many people get their "checks" at the first of the month. I love playing fire emblem on it, its to small on my gameboy micro.

Came across this old thread and thought it was worth revisiting. I haven't used the setup in a while, but thinking about finally getting some component cables and giving it a go again with the kids.

Anybody have recent experience?
