What would you do if you were given $1000 right now to spend on gaming stuff? Is there something that's always been too expensive? Or maybe there are some items that have never been high enough on your priorities to spend your hard earned cash on.

In a perfect world, I would buy a Neo Geo MVS multi cab, a Ms. Pac Man / Galaga cocktail table and maybe another machine, but unfortunately my house doesn't have the right space for arcade machines (that will have to wait for a basement remodel in a couple years). Instead I think I would buy some of the secondary systems and games that never make it high enough in my wishlist priorities. I would get a Neo Geo AES console, 32x and Sega CD, and Atari 7800 and stock up on some must have games for them. That, or maybe I would stock up on all those RPG classics for SNES, Genesis, PS1 and PS2 that I want that have ballooned in price over the years.

How about you, what would you do with $1000?

Two things:
1. Virtual On twin cab
2. Final Lap 3 twin cab outfitted with PCs.

Knock out a wall/rewire walls to make room for more cabs in my gameroom (basement) and then the Jambo Safari arcade machine with the leftovers.

Pay off debt.

Oh, gaming? Ok. Pay debt for an arcade cab I bought from a friend. Then use the rest and pay off debt.

$1000 doesnt go very far in gaming these days, but id probably buy a PS4 $400, and Xbox One $500, as to not miss any exclusives this gen like i did with the 360.

That would leave me with $100 for a game or 2.

On the other hand, id like to buy some retro games and round out my SNES collection, with $1000 id probably get:

Earthbound - $150
Harvest Moon - $130
Castlevania Dracula X - $130
Mega Man X2 - $80
Mega Man X3 - $150
Chrono Trigger - $90

With $270 left id like to get a Turbo Duo/PC Engine possibly.

This is all assuming the $1000 can ONLY be spent on Gaming items.

^More clearly. Flex and I would each borrow Ack $1,000 at 1,000% interest. With the interest we would buy whatever we wanted; whenever we wanted. We would take pictures of each new acquisition and send the picture in a thank you note to Ack.

I would use the $1000 to buy a couple tarps, a shovel, lye, a large plastic bin, a hacksaw, duct tape, and some zipties.
