Anyone interested in Japan?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Anyone interested in Japan?

Post by NeoRage »

Hey everybody. I thought I'd post this here since this is almost the only site I check anymore :?

A friend of mine has started a travel company that offers all inclusive Japan vacations. The trip is a 7 day tour and has some really cool highlights, Here's a few

- Mt. Fuji
- Asahi Brewery
- Tokyo Disney
- Tokyo Tower
- A lot more

Also included is all of your meals, airfare and hotel (No alcohol :( , But the brewery tour will get you tipsy  )

I wouldn't recommend this if I didn't think it was a great place to go, I've been five times and I could go a million more. I really think it would be cool to have a group of people who love retro gaming as much as I do go on the trip, I also think I can convince my friend into a side trip to Akihabara so we can all fill our suitcases with some retro treasures.

Their website will be done by the middle of next month and there will be a lot more info on there. The tours are from June 2nd through November 9th. She told me that I would get $$ for anyone I get to go and if I get enough people I can go for free, if anyone from here goes I will split the money I get with them (I'm more interested in going for free than the $ and I'd like to see some people from here going).

Let me know what you guys think and if you have any ?'s

I'm sure I could get you a deal for booking this year for next year, Just let me know which month you'd like to go and I'll ask her.

If I'm going, it would have to be so I could write it off on my taxes :)

The flight is around 14 hours, I know it sounds long but they feed you CONSTANTLY and the movies are free and first run. When I get off the plane I'm well rested and usually stay up all night at the arcade in the mall at Narita or the 24 hour toy and game thrift store :D :D :D :D .

Right now I'm trying to work out a special price for people I know and you guys on here, Normally it's $4995. I may be able to get that price down to as low as $4200 or $4300 (If I still get the $ and the lower price I can give back $100 or $200 to anyone on here going) depending on the amount of people I get to go. The only catch is the flight goes out of CVG which is in Kentucky, But I can help anyone get there from anywhere you live and if you get there a day before the trip I can show you around Cincinnati.

If you really want to see japan this is a great opportunity and I will pay to go along if ANY of you go, I will also rent a car when I get there like I do everytime and we can all break from the group and explore some off the path places (The cosplay girl cafe  LOL) and shops. Japan is really that wacky and fun :D

Tell anyone you like (as long as they're halfway sane :D ) . It's awesome in the summer, especially in Harajuku where the freaks(in a good way) are out all the time.
