Killzone 2 Resolution Help

The game supports 1080i but when I play it only does 720p. Anyone know why it won't do 1080i and/or how to manually change it? While I'm already on this subject, why won't my PS3 do 1080p when on the homepage? It only does 1080i. My TV definitely does 1080p. Thanks in advance.

The game is native 720P, so it will look better at 720p than 1080i.

If you want to force it to do 1080i (for whatever reason) go into your settings and untick all resolutions but 1080i.

Are you hooked up via HDMI or component? Component would stop you at 1080i.
