Sega Saturn Not Spinning After Modchip Install

Also why is the Racketboy modchip so flimsy? It feels like it's going to break in half if you apply any pressure. My lens cable doesn't really fit either.

It doesn't work without the modchip either now. I was just playing a retail game before installing it. Now it doesn't spin or read games. Does anyone have a spare model 2 ribbon cable?

For some reason the tray door switch wasn't working with the case on. I held it down with the case off and the disc started spinning. It works as usual with retail games but no back ups are working. It just plays music. Not sure what's going on. I've done Saturn installs before without any issue.

I tried 3 different games from 3 different sources and none of them work. I sent an email to support earlier.Not sure where to go from here. All I know is I've done everything I was told to do in the tutorial and it's not working. I've been googling for answers all day long. The only solution that works would be to get a refund...

The RB modchip PCBs are pretty thin. Not sure about the lens cable though.

Yeah, I didn't expect Racket to respond until Monday. I meant to post this yesterday but forgot. When you say you worked out a solution, do you mean that you got the Saturn and the chip working again or did you get a refund? If the former, could you post the solution here so others can see it?

I got a refund. I'm just going to use the one from consolegoods instead. I was going to just get a replacement but I don't like the durability of the chip or how tight the fit is.

It's been 8 days since the return was delivered back and suddenly after the first day it was delivered he doesn't reply to my emails or PMs here. No refund has been given and nothing is showing on my account. Not sure where to go from here. Has anyone else had a successful refund from the store?
