I recently received a Sony PVM 14 inch monitor. While waiting for my Scart to BNC to arrive from retro gaming cables, I purchased an RCA to bvm adapter. I hooked my pc-engine duo to the PVM and the game wouldn't load. I thought, CRAP maybe my drive is dying so I tried a card game and it worked. I then hooked my cables back to my WEGA Trinitron and the CD games worked. This baffled me. So I tried again and it worked again. I switched back to the PVM and again no cd games worked. I then hooked up my cables to the WEGA, started a game, THEN mid game switched to the PVM. AND THE GAME RESET!
What could be causing this? I've never EVER heard of cables receiving data. Only sending output to the TV.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
PC-Engine Duo Game cards work on Sony PVM, but NOT CD games!
