he probably caught wind of it's devout crowd of Shaq Fu enthusiasts that enter side tournaments for it at FG majors. It's definetley one of the most popular (and now hipster) 'bad fighting games' of all-time.

i totally would not doubt this is a real "idea" and would totally throw money at a kickstarter for it.

I'm not a big fan of these meme cash-in sort of things. I instantly thought of Cheetahmen 2. It's just profiting on an old joke.

But if they actually put effort into making a good, genuinely funny/entertaining game then I'd be on board.

Also am I the only person who thought the original Shaq Fu had some fabulous sprite animation? :lol:

Isn't this game terrible? For some reason, I've seen a bit of a resurgence in it's popularity lately. But, I thought it was regarded as being terrible.

Maybe it's all part of a big joke and I'm not in on it. 8)

Yes, it's terrible, and that's kinda why it's so popular. It's like the Troll 2 of video games.
