3DS capture board (and DS VC on wiiU)

Anybody have one of these? I just ordered one from their website. I've been looking for lag tests - the guy claims that it'll add, at most, just a couple of frames of lag and every person I've seen who has tried one said that they're just fine and any lag is imperceptible, but I'd still like an idea of just how many frames of lag it induces.

Super stoked to get this, btw, I've been waiting for a way to play DS (and 3DS, too) games on my TV for a looooong time.

EDIT: So funny that, as soon as I got this, Nintendo finally announced DS games on the WiiU, like I'd always wanted. After spending a few weeks here playing with the 3DS capture board, all I can say is that the library transfers wonderfully to the big screen. Some of these games just feel much better to play on a couch looking up at my TV, like the Final Fantasy remakes or Aliens Infestation.

I was excited at first but then I saw the price tag lol. This thing could be really cool. Did you buy a new one with the board installed or are you gonna send yours in to have it installed?

I too am pushed away by the price. Id love to have one but at $500+ I can wait for emulation.

It's only $500+ if you buy a 3DS XL with on preinstalled.. You can get one installed for about $200 iirc.. Very useful if you plan on streaming games with a regular schedule.. Streaming Pokemon MP battles and/or playthroughs attracts a lot of viewers on various streaming sites like twitch and ustream..

Hmmm... so a consolized 3DS might be a reality... Big big $$$, but a possibility.
