NES Collecting

Post by alucard655 »

What site/checklist do people use to ensure their collections are complete? For example: Dragon Warrior games with all the various maps and manuals/Explorer's Handbooks. Thanks in advance for your help.

There's a number of them out there.

Darkadia.com has a shelf-layout that looks very nice, but is strictly games. No accessories or systems.

RFGeneration.com is very popular here at Racketboy. It is very complete. And has this really cool graph bar stats thing that provides a lot of insight into what your collection actually consists of (by system, by genre, by release year, etc.). But the layout is text only, and very plain looking. And lately, the site has been kind of unreliable.

My personal favorite is VGCollect.com. The information is user-submitted, but also reviewed by site administrators. It covers everything gaming related including accessories, systems, strategy guides, manuals, and merchandise even. The site is very-well laid out and easy to navigate, and it does include pics of the items (although not the nice digital shelves Darkadia.com has). It also has a very friendly community on the boards.
