Any one up for some oXbox games on Xlink Kai?
Just started messing with Xlink again, and as fun as Halo 2 is I'd like to try out some other games out. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is one that I REALLY want to play, but I'm down for whatever. Anyone up for some Xbox goodness?

What is that? I'd be down for some battlefront if you explain what Xlink is.

Its not too had to figure out, you use it to play Xbox games online.
If you wanted a set-up explaination, the first hit on google gave me this: http://www.ehow.com/how_6697195_use-xlink-kai-xbox.html

Do all Xbox Live games support this? Never knew it existed. I may be down sometime or another...not until after the holidays, though!

It allows you to play LAN games over the Internet. The Xbox Live component is dead.o.pwuaioc wrote:Do all Xbox Live games support this? Never knew it existed. I may be down sometime or another...not until after the holidays, though!
I'd love to try it, but I don't know when i'd have the time.

I wonder how laggy this is, is it hard to find enough people to fill the lobby? Probably better off just playing the PC version of Halo.

From what I've played it's not very laggy at all unless you get someone that has a terrible connection. And even then, it's not that much different than when someone has a cruddy connection on 360. It's actually really really fun when you find a good connection and a full lobby. You can even use voice chat! The only downside is, Halo and maybe one or two other games are the only ones in the oXbox category that constantly have players online. The others that are supported you'd have to meet up with someone else since there aren't people on constantly playing it, like SWBF2, hence why I wanted to get one or two people or a group together to play with.
Here's a list of all the games that are supported. They also do PS2, PSP, PS3, 360, and Gamecube

So Since it's lan only games then capcom vs snk 2 is out of the question.

Yes ninja games that were only played via xbox live no longer work only LAN enabled games can be played via the xbox tunnel service. Why stop at SWBF 2 when you can play crimson skies, Out Run 2, Soldiers of Fortune 2 (only FPS shooter that runs at a locked 30 fps), Full Spectrum Warrior Ten Hammers, Steel Battalion Line of Contact, Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Conker Live and reloaded, and My personal Favorite Death Throw only sports game that can be won by beating the other team to shit and winning because the other team can't play lol. Otherwise Halo, and Halo 2 are the mainstay games that are still played on these xbox tunneling services.
Here is a general list of LAN enabled games that can be played on the xbox tunneling service. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Xb ... Link_games
To the above poster I'll play online with you but not star wars Battlefield 2, but Soldiers of Fortune 2 a very underrated FPS shooters which I can almost tell most if any people on this forum ever played when it was online on Xbox live awesome shooter for it's time and still holds up.

I'll have to pass on Soldier of Fortune. I've played it and IMO it's not very fun at all.
