Dreamcast Mouse Mod ?

I recently bought one and i really like the look and feel of it.
Are there any mods/ DIY to make it usb and work with a pc?

Sounds like it's not USB or PS/2 but knowing the protocol, it'd certainly be doable.

I read that the Raphnet SNES-to-USB adapter now supports the SNES mouse in windows, not just Linux.

Maybe get an adapter and use an optical mouse. I have only seen the PS/2 variety, but there are sensor mice with the non USB connector.

what? Isn't that thing to use a PC mouse on Dreamcast?

He wants to use his Dreamcast mouse on PC.

Which would allow use of a DC controller on PC, and THEN you could use something like Pinnacle Game Profiler to let the "controller" (in this case, DC mouse) to control Windows. I feel like that could work. I know some people use Pinnacle to let their controllers do all the mouse-work in Windows for media PC for instance. So that's something to look into.

If I remember to grab one of my DC mice this weekend, I can see if this works. I have a 3 in 1 PC Joybox for my Saturn controllers
