I'm currently playing Metroid Prime 3, and was struck by how the Aurora Units look suspiciously like the Prawns from District 9/Alive in Joburg.

I do see the resemblance. Pretty neat. Metroid Prime 3 is a fantastic end to the trilogy. I have played through it at least 4 times.
