Hi guys, I am new to this forum in terms of posting so I hope this is the appropriate subforum.
A few years back in 2011 I bought the game Neverwinter Nights Complete, which can be seen here:
Since then, I have opened it, played it once, and have rarely touched it since - everything is intact in good shape. The kicker is that, about a year ago, I noticed it began to surge in price. I went to browse for it on Amazon/Ebay and noticed that it was selling in the range of $40-$50. Okay, that happens, but I checked again recently and noticed Ebay auctions for a tangible, complete copy going in the $100-$120 range. Does anyone who has this game or any knowledge on its release know of how rare it may be? I never thought itd surge like it has, maybe its just hype but im going to cling onto mine for the time being.
Thanks guys.

Yeah it's worth some dough. I'd assume there was a low print run.
Dungeons & Dragons Anthology shot up in price in the same fashion.

Main thing I wonder is if people are actually buying them at those prices, or if they're being based on prices set by automatic price increases on Amazon or the like. A fair number of NWN releases seem priced a bit high for new copies, so it could just be a matter of waning stock.
The NWN collection is NWN Diamond and NWN2 Complete. $9.99 and $19.99 on GOG, respectively. The contents of the D&D anthology are similarly available.
I would think that someone actually wanting to collect physical PC releases would be a lot more inclined to grab the individual boxes, that'd actually contain manuals and all, instead of a barebones compilation.
