I'm looking forward to this, though I've never watched The Mentalist so I hope the guy's a good show runner. When this show hits TV, it's going to be a race between Gotham and Arrow for which show actually gets Batman on our TV screens first. Arrow's already brought in a bunch of stuff from the Batman universe into its show with Huntress, Ra's al Ghul's League of Assassins and a Birds of Prey reference last episode.

I like Donal Logue but I'm not sure about this show. Introducing weirdish versions of villains before Batman shows up? Why not just do a regular Batman show?

Gotham just seems like a weird concept to me. Guess we'll see how it pans out but after Agents Of Shield and Arrow, I won't hold my breath.
