I'd suggest checking the Video Game Price Charts for the sale of any NTSC-U games within the United States.

http://videogames.pricecharting.com/

They try their best to differentiate between games, complete versions, and new versions when possible.

When you say "original cases" do you mean the cardboard boxes?

For example:

Chubby Cherub increases the value of the lot substantially, and I doubt the buyer would want it without that game. (Mario Bros. and The Legend of Zelda also have some value in boxed condition.)

$100 for that lot is a decent - but not great - offer. As someone who has both bought and sold NES games, I would counter with $160 (i.e., $10 per game) and settle on a cash amount in the $120 - $140 range.

I hope that helps.

EDIT: You would probably get more than $160 for the lot if you sold each game individually online. That would be a lot of work, however, and you would incur a lot of fees doing so. Accordingly, if you get a cash offer in the $120 - $140 range, you should probably take it, IMO.

videogamepricecharts is a good guide......for online purchases.

do you want to go by online pricing? Or 'physical, in your hand' pricing?

The internet is convenient for finding whatever you want instantly.

If you're gonna factor in prices on your Complete in box games; tell the buyer your saving him time and ebay fees with your bundle. The same goes for you, it would take more time for you to sell everything individually on ebay.

Its obvious that this guys gonna resell your collection.

Everyone lowballs on craigslist. What makes your bundle special is that most all of it is cib!

Many of your games are pretty common, but boxed games are special for lots of collectors out there.

I guess you can average out each game to $10 each, but you can ask a littlle bit more for the more popular games. Only because they are boxed.

$100 bucks is a good bargain, but you can get a little bit more.

this is a business transaction and you both have to find an amount you can agree on.

EDIT:the last post explained what i was trying to say too. more concise!

If your games are boxed, ignore vgpc.

Chubby Cherub boxed w/manual in great shape will get you $150+ on Nintendoage all day. $100-120 if just ok condition.

Zelda / TMNT / the Mario Games / Gilligan's Island / Ghost n Goblins should all net you $15-30 depending on box and manual condition. Zelda more if you have the map.

Assuming fair to good condition, as a lot - $200
Assuming great condition, as a lot - $250+

More money and more work if you part it out.

Wait 2 weeks, take pictures, and list on racketboy.

It can still be useful for a vague idea. Just remember that by default it only lists loose stuff. You need to specifically click on the CIB or NEW on the graph legend to turn them on. In this case, the CIB Cherub seems to be bunk information unless some tools are just selling the same copy to each other for $300 over and over in hopes of inflating the supposed value.

I want to point out that not everyone on craigslist is buying to resell. I only resell games from yard sales that I don't like. But if I actually take the time to meet with someone and hand over cash in person, I'm not going to resell the games. It's going to go into my collection.

And you want to keep in mind you can't ask ebay prices on craigslist. If I see someone's post say that they looked on ebay for the price, I skip em. Because they are going to keep that high price in their head and not want to go down on the price much.

I get that you want to make sure you get a good deal but you need to make sure your buyer gets a good deal too. 100 bucks for those games is a good deal for both of you.

How is selling Chubby Cherub complete (and a dozen others) at less than half their value a good deal for the seller? That is one of the rarer boxes for NES and has solid / consistent value. Take it out and sell the others for $100, sure, I guess. Otherwise, really poor advice.
