NGC's Swiss goes to "No Signal" on Wii...

I recently tried out getting the Swiss application to work on the Wii via this tutorial up to a HD TV via Component:

But unfortunately even after tinkering with a lot of options "No Signal" turns up when I try to boot games.
How can this be fixed? Is it the fact I'm using the Wii's Component or something? Even when nothing is forced (480/576p & 16:9) it still won't work.
