The official "Help Hobie invade the NE for a visit" thread

So I have the opportunity to get a free domestic ticket using frequent flier miles in the near future. I need to decide where by the end of September, but the flight can be later. I just don't want to plan for something 6 months away. I'm trying to figure out an 'anchor' activity up in the northeast that would involve Racket people. Right now a visit to Funspot is the only item on the list. So if anyone has suggestions for nerdy things and would want to join up or put up with me (with me at a hotel obviously) for a few days, please make suggestions.

Suggestions can be made for elsewhere, but I'm leaning toward the NE heavily at the moment.

We should definitely get a comic-con crew going for NYC. Not to mention there's lot of places to hang out(Video Games NY, 8 bit and Up, Barcade etc...) and we could even venture to NJ for a Yestercades trip! OP and I can show yah a good time. ... in a strictly plutonic and not creepy way....
