I have used GameGavel a few different times, things seem a bit more bothersome than Ebay but at the same time not so many people know of GameGavel so you are likely to pull some better things for a cheaper price. They are reccommended on a few different retro sites I have seen so they must be reliable to some extent.

Reliable? Certainly. Not as much exposure as eBay, but as mentioned before this can lead some opportunities. I've sold a few things on there before without issue.
