Your top Wii U games

Post by NathanBarnatt »

So I got a Wii U and played New SMB and the Luigi DLC and liked them but it doesn't seem like there is anything else worth playing. I turn to my Wii to play more "fun factor" games. I've been playing a lot of PS3 games lately with lots of killing and depressing stories and now I need something bright and happy. Any suggestions?

Lego City Undercover
Pikmin 3
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (the Wii U modes are ridiculous) It's also cheap
Scribblenauts should put a smile on your face too.

I'd recommend Scribblenauts on PC over Wii U. Having a keyboard is better than using the Gamepad IMO.

There's not much that can be recommended on Wii U other than what Cronozilla has already mentioned, except Game & Wario and Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

Really love scribblenauts and tekken. I played a few minutes of Pikmin 3 and loved it.ZombiU looks good, but its a depressing game.

Also, thanks for the autograph way back at ScrewAttack con, it's proudly displayed in my room. All three of my friends are jealous.

If you want a higher resolution Most Wanted, the Wii U's version uses the PC assets. So there's that too.

I would recommend checking out Mighty Switch Force on the eShop if you haven't played it on 3DS already.

I'd also strongly recommend adding me to your miiverse buddy list :D

Unfortunately there isn't enough Wii U games out yet to make even a top 5 list. Mostly just ports of games that are available on other systems.

A top 5 list is easy:
NSMBU
Lego City Undercover
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate
Pikmin 3
ZombiU

Top 10? Not quite yet.

There are some "ports" that are worthwhile on Wii U like Tekken Tag 2, Sonic Transformed (I have both) and NFS: MW.

The Wonderful 101 looks great though so look forward to that too!!!!

Hate to say it, but the library for the Wii U is kinda of a joke right now, still waiting for some MUST HAVE titles, or a console re-design.
