Anyone here play? I started a little over a week ago when it was on sale from the Steam Summer Sale, and I'm having a lot of fun. Last time I tried it was several years ago and the Tutorial system sucked and I lost interest. It's been a lot easier to figure things out, and the Rookie Chat Channel is perfect for getting questions answered.

The new tutorial system is wicked. I suggest anybody who wasn't sure about it before to retry it now. I haven't played in several months, but I'd be happy to get back on. I'm still pretty noobish, because I never play for more than a few months at a time.

Last time I was on, I finally got my first Hurricane. (Rocking my Hurricane/Minmatar shirt now)

That's awesome. I'm mining right now because it's easy money. I'm working towards learning Mining Barge which I'll finally get in about 12 hours, so I can get a Retriever to mine more ore and faster. Then I want to finish the Tutorial missions and get me a good ship for attacking.

I started out mining and was addicted for a long time. The last few times I got on, I bought a Rifter and suited it up as best I could, then went to take things on twice my size.

Dood, you're making me want to get back on. I may re-subscribe next paycheck...

I finally got my Retriever yesterday, and was mining today. I need to figure out how to fully fit it out for mining, I just have 2 Strip Mines on it, but I made like 3mil ISK from my first full haul, and that was without playing the Market at all.

Is this the part where those of us who used to play Eve sit around and share stories?

Just tried the game for a little bit. Not planning on continuing. I was hoping for real time combat like Wing Commander, Freespace, etc. And it's not that... Waiting for Star Citizen.
