An English version of the popular Japanese synthesized voice, Hatsune Miku, is coming pretty soon.
There have been other English vocaloids before, but Miku has the best pronunciation of them all. While retaining her unearthly digital sound and a distinct Japanese accent, she's perfectly understandable. She sounds a lot better than I expected! I think she'll be a big deal for the Western electronic music community.
Check out the short song by kuni! It doesn't use any audio tools to improve the digital voice, so we can expect talented producers to make her sound even better.

It's not the first English Miku song. I have kz's 'Tell Your World' in English. It's probably Miku 3.0 English that is new.

Yeah, I was talking about the first V3 English song. Tell Your World English is done with a Japanese version - not that it's bad! I really do think V3 is an improvement.

I certainly haven't done my research. Is there no English Miku for Vocaloid 2/Append?
And actually, the English in 'Tell Your World' is pretty goofy sounding. The Japanese version is much better.

Not a bad song, I meant. I need to get more specific, but I feel like my posts are already too wordy.
V3 is the first English Miku. I'm actually a little interested. I've mostly played rock and metal up until now, but instead of gaming I could try making some electronic music...naturally, my first attempts will be horrendous. If I decide to keep going with it I still won't be sharing any for a while!
