Is the WiiU worth it? Are there enough good games to justify

I haven't really researched the WiiU very much because when it was first released all I heard were bad things about it. Lately Ive seen a few tempting games though and I have comtemplated buying one. Are there enough good games to justify it? Id definetly want most of the first party titles. I haven't really heard anything good about third party titles though..

Depends on you really.

My usual rule is that there has to be 10 games I want to play for a system before I consider purchasing it, yet I only own three Wii U games -- Nintendoland (bundled), New Super Mario Bros. and Lego City Undercover.

If all I ever played was the two games I bought, I'd consider my purchase well worth it.

I wouldn't get it over the 3DS, PS4 or even Xbox1. But it has enough good games to be considered a good console, and it's going to only get stronger.

We will know by this holiday season if the Wii U is worth it or not, I'd wait until then before buying one. Personally I am not impressed by anything announced yet aside from one sole game. Less Mario Mario Mario and more Star Fox, F-Zero, and Metroid might change my mind.

They'll probably be a price slash around the holiday season, just as the XBOne and PS4 come out. By then you'll be able to pick up Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, ZombiU, New Super Mario Bros U, Nintendo Land and Wind Waker HD. And then there's third-party titles like Watchdogs too, but you might prefer to pick that up on a different console.

Personally, I think it's worth it, but better to wait for a price slash maybe.

Oh and I forgot Sonic Lost Worlds too! That looks set to be even better than the glorious Sonic Generations and Sonic Colours.
