Special GBC/GBA Carts???

Post by muhanad »

Hey guys, I have recently been building on my GameBoy collection, and I have been really interested in GameBoy games that are shaped differently and have extra features.

If you don't know what I mean, here's a list
-Kirby Tilt'n Tumble
-Warioware Twisted
-Boktai: Sun is in your hands (I find this the most interesting one)

So, what I want to know is, are there any more of these types of games? I know about all the games with built in rumble, so you don't need to list those.

Thanks for your responses :D

GAMEBOY COLOR SPECIAL FEATURES CARTRIDGE LIST
--GameBoy Camera (Camera)
--Kirby Tilt'n Tumble (Gyroscope)
--Robopon: Sun Version (Infrared Sensor)
--Singer Sewing Machine: Operation Software (Controls Singer Sewing Machine)

GAMEBOY ADVANCE SPECIAL FEATURES CARTRIDGE LIST
--Boktai: The Sun Is In Your Hand (Sunlight Sensor)
--Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django (Sunlight Sensor)
--Drill Dozer (Rumble)
--GlucoBoy (Blood Sugar Meter)
--Warioware Twisted (Gyroscope)
--Yoshi: Topsy Turvy (Gyroscope)

Note: I only added drill dozer because it is the only gba rumble game, but for now, I am not adding gb/gbc rumble games

Japan Only's and Pictures coming soon!

If you mean these, they are not bootleg, but legit carts.

Hudson Robot Ponkottsu Star and Sun (GBC ROBOPON)

I actually bought both of these and refunded them at a BookOff. I did not want to deal with Tamagochi upkeep to keep the robot going, that annoying beep! The Infra Receiver to generate new creatures with a TV Remote is interesting. There is a US version of the Sun edition.

@ muhanad - Please tell me the meaning of your Avatar. I saw a Japanese PS2 game with bicycle character and really curious what the game is about. :?:

There's a sequel to Boktai on the GBA. it's called Zoku Boktai in Japan, but I can't remember if it's just Boktai 2 in the US, or not. Also, one of the Kururin games, I can't remember what the GBA one is called. ("Paradise," maybe.)

Oh I never knew Boktai had a sequel! Definitely getting that! Thanks :D

But I don't know what kururin game your talking about, because as far as I know, they have regular carts.

Thanks. Not big on RPGs, I never would have bought one that expensive anyways.

There is a Japanese PS2 game that features that kid on the bicycle. I swear it looks identical, though the game screenshots on the back alluded to a completely different game.
