Which is the best Twisted Metal on the PSX?

Not sure why but I have an urge to play some twisted metal on the PS1. Its been easily well over 10 years since the last time I played one so my memory is a little foggy. Out of the 3(At least I think 3) Twisted Metals that came out for the ps1, which one is considered the best?

Thanks! I was actually leaning towards 2 since that is the one that I vaguely remember playing but wasn't sure if 3 made it obsolete.

2 is the best one, any other answer is wrong.

I think they are all pretty fun on some level, but 2 is by far the best.

just got back from a local game shop. I was expecting TM2 to be dirt cheap. They only had one copy and wanted $15 for it. It was also missing the game manual. Guess I'll just have to wait another day to get my twisted metal fix.

Vigilante 8.

I had sequel to that back in the day(I still might....) and it was at the time just pure awesome. A lot of hours sunk in vigilante 8 2nd offense. If I remember right the levels from the first were included as secret multiplayer levels in the 2nd?

Kinda been in a PSX mood lately tho and having not played TM in so long, I really want to try it out again.
