Favorite game art?

Post by JayJaySut »

If you see any game related artwork, it could be fan art, concept art, or just random doodles that you like, or even something you made post it here.

I was always partial to the art on several of the Neo Geo games. I'd post an example but I'm at work and can't get to anything.

Mega man. Haha no I'm just kidding

I really like the Earthbound box art. Its so simple, but so colorful and vibrant.

And Ness inside the Starman is sort of a nice detail, took me a long time to notice that

I second the Psyngosis pick. Stunning artwork. Even their logo is amazing.

The Japanese cover is Final Fantasy VI is my favorite box art of all time. I love steampunk shiz like this and Amano is amazing:

The cover art to Ys Book I & II is also brilliant. This is one of those rare cases where the North American art is vastly superior to the Japanese (the Japanese cover is basically just a big logo):

I don't know what it is, but there is something so fun and unique about the box art for Ghosts n Goblins. It immediately makes me want to play the game again:
