Sega Saturn Magic Card V2

hi everybody

was hoping someone could give me a bit of advice on the saturn magic card v2. is there some sort of procedure to activate it over a normal boot up?? as when my saturn is switched on it usually doesn't seem to detect it. the last few times it has eventually worked just seems like a complete coincidence (switching off and on and resets etc..) but I could be doing this for 5-10-15 mins until it does 'kick in'. once it does actually activate it will stay that way unless I switch the console off for a long period then we're back to square one again. not much info about so if anyone is a bit more clued up than me i'd appreciate any thoughts??

If you can make it past the Portuguese/broken English, it sounded like this guy's problem was that he wasn't positioning the cartridge properly in the slot.

If this happens to be the problem for you as well, (I know it sounds like a "duh" suggestion but,) I'd try cleaning your cartridge. My SNES will do the same thing when I put a dirty game in. It takes some odd positioning to work right or I'll just have to... clean it.
