Sweet. 2 buyers!
Right now I have 9 different controller types and when I start playing my systems it becomes a mass of wires. Then I get lazy and just toss them into my basket of controllers and the mass gets even worse. I would love to get rid of my wires so I can enjoy all my systems without the frustration of cords.
Going wireless on all those different controllers can get expensive. Some of the consoles you listed might have a 3rd party wireless controller, though they could be Infra which needs a direct line of site though. The easiest method would be to gut out the PCB out of the existing wired controller and matching buttons to an older wireless unit that has a separate receiver. Getting the correct power to it and Identifying the inner workings for each button of the receiver might be an issue though.
The PS2 has wireless 3rd party controller and there are adapters for most consoles. It could be done by patching a cable between the adapter and PCB of the gutted original controller. To get back the original controller, you would have to gut out a 2nd original controller to convert back from the PCB of the wireless. This probably won't work anyways since the wireless PCB has to be wired to a project box.
Why not just get boxes to store the controllers to say four to a box? Take the time to put them away right so you won't have the christmas light tangle later on. I leave a controller plugged into each console with the cable loosely wrapped so always ready to play. The trick is to untangle the cable and plugging into the console BEFORE loosely wrapping the coils.
