SCART Adapter won't work in TV's SCART position

I'm thinking about getting this SCART adapter for S-Video (as well as Composite) but due to the way the SCART is in my HD TV & the area which it's in I can't place it in and use the inputs into the adapter.
Adapter:

(sorry but I don't have an image of the HD TV Scart input to easily show at the moment but it was a selection of inputs into the side of a HD TV and the SCART was straight at the bottom so the adapter's inputs would be facing the "wall" of the TV and be inaccessible)
I know I could just use a SCART switcher or extension lead but I may only want to use one other SCART input that goes onto the end of this adapter while using the S-Video/Composite part and using the extension lead would take it away from being with the rest of the inputs.
