Arcade Heroes is one of my favorite arcade news sites and they recently posted up this excellent article that is just ripe with oddball Sega history. Go enjoy.

Good info...Especially for the under 30 crowd that didnt grow up/hanging at the Arcades.
Curtsy when you walk by that Dreamcast

That was an awesome article. That Virtua Formula and House of the Dead 4 with swivels was really awesome. I'd also love to have that full motion Space Harrier.
Well, I can always dream right? Thanks for sharing, fastbilly!

The best part is there are even more Sega simulators out there to discover! Like the 1970 Sega game Jet Rocket, which was an early flight simulator:

Or the 1972 Sega shark hunting game, Killer Shark:

Man those are awesome! I had only ever seen 1 or 2 of them myself. I do remeber playing the skateboarding game, and hating it because I was trying to ride it like a real skateboard (was into skating at the time) trying to ollie and stuff. It was a huge cab that took up a ton of space.
