hi members , i bought a second hand Slim PSP 2002 recently and it came with 2 Batteries.
one of the Batteries is a 1800mah and it came with 2 Door Covers (they look aftermarket to me) , ive tried multiple times to get the Door Covers to stay closed but they kind of fall off with a slight amount of pressure.
i was wondering whats going on and could i buy a new aftermarket one or even the Official Battery with cover to fix my problem............

Slim PSP with 1800mah Battery, Door Cover doesnt stay closed
Re: Slim PSP with 1800mah Battery, Door Cover doesnt stay cl
There should be two tabs that go inside the two holes on PSP, and receiving hole to close (that connects to the open slot) the cover.
Will try to shoot photo later.

The 1800ma is the "extended life" battery? The one that sticks out a little further in the Slim and need a different battery door, right?
Is your battery (and thus covers) first or third party? If it's anything other than Sony, that might be what your problem is. Some third parties make shit stuff, and I wouldn't be surprised if the battery door wouldn't stay on.

I dunno, six hours of game with the standard battery is enough for me.
Just get a PSP-1000 battery if you can't find the special 2000 battery.
I also have trouble with my UMD drive not closing. The metal tabs often pop out because they're bent in the middle. Try straightening those out.

from memory its a PSP-1000 Battery , it also works in PSP2k's only you need a new Cover

China are trying to be a electronics giant theres a lot of stuff coming from there only 99% of it is shit , if your going to do something do it right !

with my first PSP ive only ever opened the UMD Door a couple of times , once to test the PSP worked and the other to show my ' shrink ' how CFW works on a PSP he calls me gadget man
