How I go about using S-Video on my TV?

Post by BitFaced »

I'm currently using a Technika 21.6" LCD TV (Model X21.6/54G-GW-TCDU-UK) and the inputs lacks S-Video. The SCART socket (mentioning in particular because S-Video is one of the three modes SCART has besides Composite and RGB) doesn't support RGB but does support Composite, so I don't know whether it would support S-Video or not and with a passive adapter. Does anyone know if it does?
Also, would a S-Video passive adapter to SCART work with a Sync Strike/GBS-8200?
N64/NES/FC/SNES/SFC/GB (SGB)/GBC (Black)(SGB)/FDS/Satellaview/Genesis/Mega Drive/Master System & maybe N64DD/GBC/GBA.

Also, will S-Video to SCART (passive S-Video to SCART adapter), Composite SCART (in this case RGB SCART cable accepting a Composite NES signal from an otherwise RGB N64/Tri-Star 64) and Composite to SCART adapters work with Sync Strike, GBS-8200 and SLG-3000?
