No rumble in Wavebirds?

Post by kinn »

I'm interested in picking up a Wavebird for GC gaming on the Wii but I'm not sure whether they have force feedback or not. Can anyone let me know?

Thanks

They don't. But I still use Wavebirds exclusively.

Thanks for the reply.

So the only way to get rumble from GC games on the Wii is by a wired GC controller?

As far as I know, yes.
AFAIK, there wasn't a good third-party Wireless GC controller...

Well thanks anyway.

Was considering getting one since it appears that Nintendo will not be restocking them: http://www.computerandvideogames.com/ar ... ?id=178318

Where are you hunting for wave birds? I'm always trying to find a few more.

Are they still selling the wired ones?

Yes. The wavebird is an awesome controller though, so find them if you can. I may go buy some, even though I prefer wired, call me old fashion.

I didn't actually get around to starting the hunt. Don't think I will now since it the Wavebird doesn't do rumble.

I suppose I would look for one at my local stores like Gamestation perhaps and also on-line sites and of course, Ebay. But I am in the UK so I don't know about stores in USA.

@Ivo - Not sure about wired ones mate. I guess you could always pick up a 3rd party one if they have stopped stocking them.

The WaveBird's the only way I play my Gamecube. Fantastic controller--no lag, has unfathomable battery life, great signal strength.
