NEW trailer!

Man, if this game comes out this fall in the west then this really is the year of the 3DS! New consoles be damned.

This game and Bravely Default are pretty much the reason I will probably be picking up a 3DS soon. I am very curious too see how this game relates to Apollo Justice. AJ left a few plot holes and certain things were just flat out unclear. Hopefully AA5 explains things a bit better :D

Digital download only? Why Capcom? I'm seriously a little mad about this. I'm grateful it's coming and quite promptly at that but c'mon....

They're just playing it safe. I don't really blame them.

I know it's better than it not coming at all but couldn't they at least take preorders for a limited run of physical copies and then say "That's all folks"?

The collector mindset in me is really let down.

Man, I've been waiting for this for quite some time. I only played the first Ace Attorney, so is there any serious plot i'll be missing? Or will I be right at home?

Um.....really it depends. The first 3 games were pretty much an independent story (all of them together that is). Apollo Justice didn't make any references to the previous games (heck even Phoenix Wright as a character wasn't his real self, so even that connection fell flat). So this game might also be its own thing, unless it continues the story of Apollo Justice, which is pretty probable since he's in it.

WHatever, I'm happy we are getting it, but it sucks that there is no physical release. But I guess we should be glad it's getting released at all. Still waiting for Phoenix VS Layton

I hope it continues the story of Apollo Justice as the final case and ending of it left a few plot holes or at least a few plot points that were not explained very well and I want to know what happened to Wright after the game ended.

Same here. I'm glad we're getting the game but I still feel disappointed.

Damn you Capcom for not making this stuff available to us

I don't care so much for the Phoenix statue, as I care for that 3DS case. It's amazingly classy, and I want it
