John has some interesting reverb at times in this show. Overall I liked it, and I appreciated the thoughts being shared on such titles as the most recent SimCity. John's mixture of praise and complaints on the title gave me a better perspective of the game as opposed to the seemingly non-stop criticism that I have seen on other gaming website.

As for your war movie discussion related to Spec Ops: The Line, the films I think that would best fit your examples are the ones so nihilistic that they seem to delight in their killing, filled with jokers who do not take their tasks(or their lives) seriously: The Dirty Dozen, Play Dirty, Castellari's Inglorious Bastards. none of these movies are pro-war, but their characters have given up traditional values and instead seem to delight in murder and mayhem. These films criticize war and its effect on humanity while also reveling in their brutality and making violence almost appear fun.

For a more serious tone, I'd say something like Defiance offers a mixed message: showing the horrors of war on a population while showing that same population take up arms to "gloriously" fend off whatever threatens them, acknowledging that war for offense is bad but war for defense is good.

I appreciate the insight. We will discuss your comments on the next 'regular' show.

I just want to say, I absolutely lost it when you started in on the obnoxiously loud rapid mouse clicking and such.

Has anyone taken you guys up on the editing thing? I have a bit of personal experience in audio fiddling and might be able to help out.
