How close am I to beating Final Fantasy 7 *Spoilers*

Okay, so I've been playing this game veeeeeeery slowly for a while now and I just can't get into it. I'm currently at the point where the weapon attacks Mideel and Cloud and Tifa go on a trippy adventure. Barring side quest, how much longer do I have to go?

Seeing as how you have another 12 games to beat, since you ask how far you are from beating the entire Final Fantasy (series), instead of just the 7th one, I think you have a looong way to go.

Now if you are asking for only the 7th title, I'd say you are about half way there.

Actually you're probably 80 percentish done with Disc 2. Disc 3 is very short.

I want to say it's been at least that long for me, too. Guess I just remember it a lil' better!

Maybe you played it more than once? I know I played FF8 so many times (around 4) that I remember the game quite well.

Oh yeah, definitely. That last time I'd played it was I think my second or third playthrough.
