My computer just randomly blue screened!

I had minecraft open and firefox with a few tabs open including youtube. Then it crashed and i got a blue screen. It booted back up fine.
Edit; I had been on it for awhile, could it have been overheat?

Try running Malware Bytes and Spybot Search & Destroy, could be spyware...

Doing a full system scan with norton right now, downloading SpyBot.

That's a generic screen. Need to know the STOP code near the bottom to troubleshoot. It's the 0x0000000## code. If it happens again, note that code.

i think it had like 3 1's and some eights.
It only stayed on screen for 20 seconds or so, and i was silently losing my shit while sitting with my parents.

Doing a full system scan with norton right now, downloading SpyBot.

First thing is get rid of Norton, it acts as bad as Spyware at times. Make sure you reboot (hard reset) and run Spybot or whatever other utilities you have in your arsenal in Safe Mode after you download all the updates. Good luck.

My dad forced me to get the paid version of norton. I didn't want it, but I use it anyways. I noticed I had a shitload of cookies that were level 5 on SpyBot. Could the tons of them have anything to do with it?
