Science thread

Post by Ivo »

It appeared to me that the forum may benefit from a thread dedicated to discussing science - both established one and new developments.
This can be a dedicated place to ask questions, discuss your thoughts, or just sharing something interesting you saw on the news.

Ivo.

My question is: WHY DO LAB COATS HAVE THAT ROPE IN THE BACK? WHAT IS IT USED FOR?

Seriously, nobody knows.

I occasionally pick up this magazine. Pop science stuff, but amusing late night reading.

If you're wearing Grey's Anatomy brand lab coats do you lose IQ points?

Make Magazine is one of my favorites. A subscription I do not regret having and there are tons of great projects and cutting edge DIY things in it.

I've been hedging on getting a Make subscription and paying attention if a Maker Fair happens near me.

When MakerFair hits NYC again I'm going to try and go for free. My bandmate makes recycled bike messenger bags / backpacks and has done it a few times. She said if I work for her that weekend I get in for free!
