Got a snes with no hookups

But thats no problem since

1. A "pal" nes ac adaptor works for a "Pal" snes too.
2. Gamecube,n64 and snes use the same A/V output so i used the A/V output from my n64 since i dont use it these days. A nes RF connector works too but the picture isnt great but playable.

Just figured i´d post this in case someone else has trouble with hookups for a snes :D

i´ve only tried using a nes ac adaptor for a pal snes so i cant say if it works for a Us verison of a snes..didn figure there would be a diffrence

If you have multiple systems, like a PS1 and a SNES, get one of the older multi-hookups. I have my PS1 and SNES both hooked up via S-video through the same connector :) All I need now is an Xbox.

I use the ac of my old Router (9v) and the Mega Drive rf out.

Then how did I do it as a kid, all the time. Neither of my nintendo consoles were hurt by it. It must depend on the version of nes your talking about. I'll have to dig out my nes and snes to check that now.

so far i have not had any problems powering my snes with my nes ac adaptor. Im using a pal snes if that could be the reason it works

the usa version of the super nintendo uses a wierd AC adapter with a skinny pin inside it.

the NES adapter will NOT fit in a Super Nintendo, unless im completely stupid.

He's right-- the AC adapter for a USA NES will not work in a Super NES. I'm glad that the PAL versions are interchangable, though.

how is the picture quality with the mega drive rf out ? and how did you manage to plug it in ?
