OK SO my story...
I spent most of my 20s doing nothing. Then at 28 I went back to school and started Psychology. Loved Abnormal Psychology and General. But once I got to Social Psychology and last night Human services. I was like FUCK THIS SHIT. I had taken a Film class for an English credit and pretty much that itch to make films I've had since I was 14 came back SO I'm buying a Camcorder and doing a documentary on The Elderly, Have them tell their stories because once they die, their stories and wisdom die with them. I already came up with a Name for my Production company, Shoot the Core Films.
I was just wondering if there were any other film makers or Content producers on here and what projects you're working on.
Any Film makers here?
Re: Any Film makers here?
Yup. But right now I'm mostly on the writing side. Wrote a short that will probably be filmed in the next few months, and a feature that will hopefully go into production by the end of the year.

Ive done some commercial gigs but nothing big, yet.
Re: Any Film makers here?
You're going to have to specify what you mean as a "film maker" as hundreds if not thousands are involved in making a film. A key-grip assistant is part of making a film.

I figured Rev meant writers, DPs, ops, directors, sound techs, etc. More about behind the camera than in front.

I thought the industry term was "fluffer".Luke wrote:A key-grip assistant is part of making a film.
