External PS Vita UMD Drive?

Post by TheSegaSaturnGuy »

I was pondering over this last night and couldn't decide whether it would be possible or not. It would work the same way as an external cd-rom for a computer I would think, and it would require an app download on the vita in order to read the disks. I would be willing to collaborate with someone to create this or maybe there is one already made? Any thoughts???

I am buying all Saturn games, PM me with your offerings and I will let you know if I need the game or not! (Everything must be CIB)

Currently trying to knock off all the sports games, would like to get them <$5 each! Of course if you would like to donate them I will gladly pay the shipping! :)

I think a PSP ISO loader will be a more convenient option. You can even make your own ISOs if you have a homebrewed PSP.

I think an external UMD drive would be better as a little mini game console that you hook up to your TV. I had an idea for a design for one way back when to mimic the original fat PS2, and use PS2 controllers to play the games. I have a broken PSP 1000 that if I knew what I was doing I could try and make one but oh well.
