imgburn help

Post by ninjainspandex »

been trying to burn ps1 games on my new pc and every time i try it i get the same error
E 14:42:18 CompareImageFileLayouts Failed! - Session Count Not Equal (1/0)
E 14:42:18 Verify Failed! - Reason: Layouts do not match.

my burner lowest speed is 16x and fastest is 40x, i tried both and neither worked i also tried a bunch of different brands of cd and to no avail. I have burned hundreds of games on my old pc without any problems. im guessing new cd/dvd/blueray burners no longer support write speeds low enough to successfully burn ps1 and saturn games?

I have no idea what those error codes are, but they don't sound like a write-speed issue. Maybe try a diff version of ImgBurn?

Some things to try:
In ImgBurn's "Tools" dropdown choose "Reset DMA..."
Buy a different brand of disc and try burning at a speed of 8x or less.
If those don't fix it, try upgrading your DVD drive's firmware.

hi ninjainspandex , try using DiscJuggler for PS1.............i found that it produces less C1 and C2 errors than Imgburn.

and for Saturn games i use Nero which the same produces less errors than Imgburn.
