yes, nice vid.

You are right about the disc. Its kinda hard to find on its own.

But thankfully the case that it comes with is a special shape. If you know what the case looks like, you can get lucky and find a disc inside of it.

I'm always keeping an eye out for them. I own two of them right now. One that I bought when i got the Gameboy player new and a second one that I got when I got another gamecube/GBP without the disc. I've also found them empty as well. :(

Somehow, we also need to check and see if the Gameboyplayer disc has no region lockout. Are they compatible with all countries? If thats true then you can get a US disc and use with any GBP.

I know personally that a few months ago Nintendo could still sell you a replacement disc. They sold them for about $15-20 USD. Dont know (and too lazy to check) if they still have some in stock.

Another fun reason to own a Gameboy player is to get some link cables and play 4 swords zelda. I've heard that the ones on the Gameboy advance are a different game from the Gamecube disc. Is it true I wonder?

The disc itself is region locked.
So obviously then you can't use an NTSC GBP disc on a PAL GameCube system, and vice versa.
For bypassing the region lock I use one of those Datel Free Loader discs. It works great that way.

The GBA game, Four Swords, was included on the same cart as the ALTTP port. The Gamecube game, Four Swords Adventures is totally different.
