PS2 OPM Hidden Demos

Post by c0wb0y »

This site is great for many reasons, including the "Hidden Gems" pages. I'm looking for info on a different type of hidden gem. On the Official Playstation Magazine demo discs, they would sometimes include hidden demos. A demo would be on the disc, but not under the playable demos section of the menu.
For example, disc 111 lists 6 playable demos, and under the Extra heading, it says "Hidden Demo." I Googled it and it turns out it is a DDR Supernova Unlockable.
Does anyone know of a more comprehensive list?

Specifically, I'm trying to recall what disc had a hidden Japanese fishing game. I found another person who was looking for this over on the Escapist site. Their description recalls lots of details that I had forgotten. I'm including their description as I can't add much more:
Players would literally be hovering over a city where they would cast their line out into the water. A mini-map would appear to show you what's around your hook, if I remember correctly. Once a fish was hooked it would hover on level with you, where you had to pull it in somehow, but I've forgotten by this point.
The two kinds of "fish" I remember hooking were these weird anthropomorphic soda cans (red and brown in variety) and a gigantic rocket powered robot shark. (Needless to say, I never reeled in the latter)
The game used cell shaded graphics if that's a help. - http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/ ... -of?page=3

Any takers?
