Cameos/Guest apperances in games

I'm talking about stuff like:

The statue of Jeffery from VF in the expert track of Daytona 1
Sonic wall on the easy track of Daytona 1
A faintain statue of Sarah from VF in Virtua Cop 1 (or 2) and a poster of her in Virtua Cop 2's first level
Sonic hanging off the rear view mirror in Rad Mobile
Sonic in Xmas Nights
Countless stuff in Capcom VS games.
Chun Li and Guile in Final Fight 2
Haggar in Saturday Night Slam Masters
Daytona Hornet car and other characters in Fighter's Megamix.
Sonic in the MD RPG Soliel

I guess Sonic in Super Smash Brother Melee on the Wii now. And was Pacman in Mario Kart (the aracde version by Namco)? Would be amazing if Sonic makes an apperance in Mario Kart Wii.

I think its fun when developers do things like this. Can you guys think of some more?

MK characters in early versions of NBA Jam Tournament
In Soul Calibur 2, One of Casandra's costume is based on Namco's Legend of Valkyrie.

Soul Calibur 2 is probably the best example of this; with Link, Spawn, and Heihachi.

Dead Rising with the megaman items in the game.

Chun Li was also in the first Breath of Fire.

Also some cast members from final fantasy 3 were in Secret of Evermore in the arena audience.

Link and Samus are in Mario RPG...
Link is mentioned in the GBA remake of FF1 - he is the on the tomb in Elfien.
The TARDIS is in Fallout
In FF6 the three dream spirits are named after the original Three Stooges
Also in FF6 Shadow the Ninjas real name is Clyde, Clyde is a ghost in Pacman - ok so it is a stretch.
FF legends 2 there is a character who looks and acts an awful lot like Indiana Jones.
Bonus Kun from Galaxy Fight is in Waku Waku 7
The character Violet Boregard in Thrill Kill is named after Violet Beuregarde from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory story.

Link cameo'd in Donkey Kong Country 3.

There's been numerous Grim Fandango references in the Monkey Island games.

Game consoles and characters have cameo'd in the Pokemon series.

Vulcan Raven cameo'd in MGS2 as a doll.
The Ape Escape apes were in MGS3.
A pile of other Metal Gear characters cameo'd in MGS3 like Raiden and Campbell.

Didnt Virtua Striker 2 have some guest apperances in it as well? I think it had Yuji Naka and the creator of Monkey Ball/Yakuza in it.

Speaking of LucasArts games, since LucasArts is part of the LucasFilm Company, you will see alot of Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and THX 1138 references in the games. My personal favorite is the one in Secret of Monkey Island, when you meet the troll on the bridge, the only way to get across the bridge is by giving him a fish, and when you are walking across the bridge, the troll took his head off (like a mask) and reveals that its George Lucas under the costume, eats the fish and puts his mask on.
