Not sure if this goes here, but my husband just handed me an original game boy in mint condition with 7 games: amazing spider-man, nemesis, double dragon, fall of the foot clan, nfl football, super mario land, and bases loaded. He wants me to see how much he can get for it. Anyone have a clue?
Thanks,
Joy

Re: Original game boy
You'd be lucky to get around $30-$40, if sold as a lot. Might be worth a little bit more if separated.

Hi. Welcome to racketboy.
Selling always depends on whos willing to pay. It could be worth so much on the net but untill someone pays up is when you should brag.
OG gameboys usually can go safely for $20. Prices can go down depending on scratches on the screen and general wear and tear. Check and see that the battery contacts arent corroded.
On the games, sports games arent worth much and the other games are better. super mario land, amazing spider-man, nemesis, double dragon, fall of the foot clan are the ones people really would care about if you sold this as a lot. Five bucks for average is nice for each, but you can push for a little more.
Condition matters. Lets hope the stickers are good and the carts arent sun damaged.
We as collectors can be picky. But you can get lucky selling it this holiday season.
