Does anyone have a system that they never play and has been collecting dust? For me and some odd reason it's been the dreamcast. I love the thing and won't sell it but I just have been to busy on my nes and psp. I havn't got a game for it in month's.
Does anyone else have a system that they havn't bought a game or is just in the corner feeling neglected?
Anyone ever have a neglected system in thier household?

My Ps1?
Kinda hard to find a reason to bring it out when the Ps2 works just fine for Ps1 titles.

Re: Anyone ever have a neglected system in thier household?
Lately it seems all of them. Just haven't been in a gaming mood. Collecting, archiving, modding (or paying to have systems modded), sure but actual playing? Dunno, haven't had much time/desire for it, it seems. But I always go in shifts with that.
When I AM playing, there's certainly a few that get neglected. I'm working on collecting all us-released systems so when you have somewhere around 30 it's unavoidable that some will be ignored.
The 3DO rarely gets touched. The Jaguar/JagCD rarely gets touched. The 5200, the Intellivision, I never had them as a kid so if I'm going to play something from that era i tend to pick up the 7800 (my 2600 is shelved entirely since the 7800 is fully compatible) or the Colecovision. The TG16/TGCD used to be a Rondo of Blood machine until it started getting re-released for other systems.
Seems I mostly play NES/SNES/Genesis/PS2/Dreamcast. The others, less so. But I still touch them all here and there. Some day I'll sell off some extras. Some day.

Gunning for a licensed NES NTSC-U set, follow the madness and poverty here!

My Dreamcast and Genesis get almost no play at all. I still play Genesis games quite often, but I play them on a Nomad (modded with an LCD so the screen is tolerable) since it's more convenient.
My DS Lite is also ignored. I have a DSi and 3DS, so my DS Lite has been rendered obsolete. I don't want to sell it for some reason, but I haven't played it since forever.

I boxed my Dreamcast and PC Engine Duo-R when I moved almost two years ago. They're still boxed...

3DO lives in the closet.
Hasn't come out of the closet since January.

N64 and Xbox360. Only have one game for the 360 and nothing amazing for 64.

Not going to bite.
I try to rotate my systems as much as possible, as if they aren't hooked up they're less likely to be played. Save for GEX, my 3D0 doesn't get much play. My FC3 gets little use as my NES, SNES, and Genesis are all playing like champins.

Re: Anyone ever have a neglected system in thier household?
I generally seem to rotate my old consoles pretty reliably, although the Dreamcast seems to avoid much attention, mainly because I only have a handful of good games for it. The same goes for the PS2 and PS1 - my collection is quite small for those.
The Xbox, 3DO and Virtual Boy get almost no attention. I do enjoy them when I do play them, but the amount of games I'm interested in for those systems is small.
Out of my portable systems, they all get lots of play except for the Game Gear - I have an OK selection of games for it, but I need to plug into the wall to play, then plug into some giant speaker to hear it because the capacitors are long gone - It's not really a comfortable set up
My most played systems outside of current gen and portable (which get lots of play) are probably the N64 and Master System. For some reason I just have a lot of nostalgia for those 2, even over other systems I had as a kid.
