Super Famicom games on PAL SNES?
Question: Can I play a Japanese Super Famicom game on a PAL snes without using a converter?

the japanese super famicom games is almost the same as the super nintendo in the us...internally.

i don't think a converter supports all games to work. make sure you read reviews and pros and cons of the converter your getting...or post the converter you getting here and maybe some guys here can comment about it.isotope.no.fantaji wrote:sevin0seven wrote:nope.

Just be sure to mod your PAL SNES with a 50/60hz switch. Japanese games are meant to be played on 60hz.
And buy a RGB cable for the best possible picture quality while you're at it

With all the modifications, you might want to consider simply importing an actual Super Famicom or North American SNES if you want to play NTSC games. OR, buy an SNES Powerpak. That's region free.
