Re: Radirgy Hi-Scores
My first attempt; and impression: This is a pretty neat game; not quite sure what all the random items are for, but I'll find out eventually.
foxhound1022 - 6,220,000 - Stage 3 - Wide Shot - 54%

No idea how scoring is working, made stage 3 but nowhere near your score...

Re: Radirgy Hi-Scores
Not really sure either. All I know is I tried to grab as much of the random items as possible.
I also found out that some shots are canceled by your fire, while others can be canceled with the sword.
On stage 2 or 3 w/ those spinny enemies that shoot a crap-ton of shots, slice 'em; they die in one hit.
It may also have to do with canceling a lot of bullets with your shield.
Basically I'm just spitballing; IDK what the hell's goin' on.
EDIT: I think I'm also gonna take pics at the name entry; my tiny TV sucks.
I gotta hook up my Wega.

Re: Radirgy Hi-Scores
This game is very cartoony, yet crisp and looks very pretty in VGA.
The sword attack reflects the triangle shaped rewards, reflect it 3x (I think) and it gets bigger. Reflect it more and sometimes it turns gold. Totally clueless though on chaining, and what triangles are best - I assume we should grab all the stationary rewards, but not positive.
The mid-boss on stage 3 is tough - I take 2 hits minimum on him right now, gonna have to workshop him.
I find the bubble-shot to reap the most points now, but it is tough to see what's going on using that weapon. I'm able to distinguish between the orange bullets now, which I can cancel and which I can't.
BTW, I had 38% clear, forgot to add that to my score.

Yeah, I like the look; very cartoony. I might try it on Wii since I have the Ultimate Shooting Collection; try it with my TvC stick.
Now this'll sound dumb, but I'm not a videophile; what is VGA? I know it's a different video output for DC, but is it for monitors only?
As far as items; I did none of that. I just grabbed stuff as I saw it. The only thing I consciously did was to also try and cancel lots of bullets: Be it sword, or the ABS shield or whatever.

VGA is on par with component, definately an upgrade from s-video and composite.
DC VGA boxes are very high right now, $40 plus range, but they are worth it.
VGA is on TV's as well, not on most older CRT's, but newer LCD's and HDTV's, etc. My connect in my pic is just a standard 32" Toshiba 720p LCD, via VGA.
I wish it were a straight VGA cable, it's actually a converter box for DC, so it is more wires than I like. VGA box plugs into DC via the AV in, then you need a male--->male generic VGA cable from the VGA box to your tv, then you need a 3.8m generic stereo plug from the VGA box to your TV as well, it's kinda ugly, but once you set it up and conceal the wires you forget about it.
