WWF No Mercy - How to play GBC mode?

Hi,

I've recently been re-playing WWF No Mercy on the N64 and it's still one hell of a game. I was reading up on the game on the internet and I came across talk of a GBC hidden championship mode. Basically the game was originally going to be able to link up with the Game Boy Color game and one of the features was an extra Championship mode. The mode remained hidden in the game, but was never accessible due to the GBC game never being released.

Apparently though, it is accessible with the use of a cheat cartridge, the Gameshark. That's why I'm here though, because I can't find much information on it.

Does anyone know how I would go about accessing it?

I have a PAL N64 and PAL/UK copy of the game. I can't find any Gamesharks in the UK. This site seems to think it was called the Pro Action Replay here, but I thought that was a different company? Also, most codes available are for US releases, so where would I find the GBC code for a PAL copy?

You may need to request someone to poke around the game and find a usable code. I recently asked for that myself, to get GBC mode for the rare NTSC ver 1.1 WWF No Mercy.

Overall I suggest getting an NTSC N64. 60hz and a more extensive game library. Heh I have three N64s on hand, two of which are US/JP slot modded...

Eh, I'd love a NTSC N64 and even better would be a RGB modded one. It would be great to have 60hz and RGB display, but it's too much money for me overall to care. Especially as I would need to re-buy my games. Would be good though one day.

Thanks for the reply though. To be honest, I think I'll just give up. I've been searching the net and I can't get any straight forward answers lol. I guess it's easy enough to do on Project64 anyways.

I totally was expecting there to be a mode where you could play no mercy with GBC style graphics, man was i let down when I watched the video on you tube.
